Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active, unrestricted RN license in Michigan Experience in school nursing or relevant clinical pediatric/child health background highly desirable Strong assessment, clinical documentation, and communication skills Able to respond calmly and effectively in urgent or emergency circumstances Current CPR and First Aid certification

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, including administering medication, managing health plans, and responding to minor injuries and acute health concerns Communicate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to promote health and safety practices Develop and implement care plans for students with chronic conditions or special medical needs Conduct health screenings, immunization monitoring, and documentation of care Maintain accurate health records and comply with confidentiality and privacy standards Offer health education presentations and resources to students and staff
