Shift:

8-hours Evenings Shift details: 3.00 P to 11.00 PM 40 hours/week. (5

• 8) 17-week assignment Conduct thorough assessments of residents' health status, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories.

Administer medications and treatments accurately, including IV infusions, injections, and wound suturing, while adhering to aseptic techniques. Manage complex care plans involving chronic conditions such as dementia, memory care needs, and behavioral health issues. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care strategies aligned with residents' needs. Monitor residents for acute pain management and respond promptly to emergent health concerns in compliance with emergency response procedures. Maintain meticulous medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Cerner or Epic, ensuring HIPAA compliance. Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health conditions, medication administration, and end-of-life care options like hospice and palliative medicine. Ensure infection control protocols are rigorously followed to prevent healthcare-associated infections within the facility. Skills Extensive experience working with individuals with disabilities, including developmental disabilities and those requiring memory or dementia care. Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or Epic for accurate documentation and patient record management. Strong clinical skills in critical care procedures including airway management, ventilator support, catheterization, and laboratory specimen collection. Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate medical recordkeeping and billing processes. Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases involving trauma medicine, ICU-level care, or Level I/II trauma center experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with long-term care regulations such as NCQA standards and Medicare/Medicaid compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills to effectively triage urgent situations and coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts in fast-paced environments such as hospital medicine or emergency rooms. Ability to perform advanced nursing procedures including ostomy care, gastric lavage, tube feeding management, and sterile processing techniques.
