Wellness Director Volante of Lake Orion Lake Orion, MI Now hiring an LPN or RN Director of Wellness. 2+ years of experience in assisted living leadership preferred. We are looking for a Wellness Director to join our team! You will play a crucial role in shaping the health and happiness of our residents while enjoying a fulfilling and rewarding career. What you'll be doing: Supervise and lead a team of caring professionals, providing guidance, training, and support. Coordinate Resident Care Programs to ensure compliance with state regulations and Volante Senior Living policies. Conduct pre-admission screenings and assessments, interviewing residents and families with empathy and understanding. Evaluate resident care needs and determine the required level of care, adapting to changes in conditions. Maintain accurate records of resident changes, requests, and irregularities. Update medical charts and care plans to ensure comprehensive and personalized care. Observe residents' health status, taking proactive measures within your scope of practice. What you'll bring to the table: Bachelor's or associate's degree preferred, with emphasis in business administration, hospitality, gerontology, or a related field. Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) with an unencumbered license to practice nursing within the state of application. with an unencumbered license to practice nursing within the state of application. with an unencumbered license to practice nursing within the state of application. 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a similar role. Prior care experience in an assisted living community or skilled nursing facility. Valid First Aid and CPR Certification. Understanding of State Assisted Living Regulations. Reliable transportation, automobile insurance as required by law, and a valid driver's license.
