Prior Med Surg experience preferred Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $62.98 Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You'll Do Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to develop and evaluate individualized patient care plans Provide patient-centered care for a diverse medical-surgical population, including post-surgical, trauma, stroke, and hospice patients Educate patients and families using clinical pathways and evidence-based practices Demonstrate clinical expertise and share knowledge with team members Maintain effective communication through SBAR and interdisciplinary interactions Support safe and quality care delivery in a fast-paced environment Assist in maintaining a positive team environment and uphold unit policies What You Need Valid Michigan RN license (or in process) Prior Med Surg experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced setting About the Assignment This position is based at McLaren Northern in Petoskey, MI, on a 60-bed Medical Surgical Unit with a diverse patient population. The unit emphasizes patient safety, quality care, and teamwork, supported by an active Shared Governance council. New team members will receive a comprehensive orientation to ensure a smooth transition and successful practice.
