Responsibilities:

Coordinate and deliver holistic nursing care for surgical patients, utilizing the full nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation). Delegate and supervise care activities performed by other team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, recovery, and post-operative care. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of care provided and patient response in accordance with healthcare standards. Communicate clearly and promptly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care. Recognize variances from established patient goals, participate in finding solutions, and oversee the implementation of corrective actions. Uphold infection control practices and ensure all safety protocols are met in the operating room environment.

Qualifications:

Current and valid RN licensure. Minimum of one year recent experience as an RN in an Operating Room setting. Demonstrated skill in perioperative patient assessment, intervention, and evaluation. Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities under pressure. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
