This contract opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Interventional Radiology procedures, seeking to make a vital impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. Monitor, assess, and document patients' conditions before, during, and after procedures. Administer medications, monitor IVs, and assist physicians with various diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Ensure a sterile and safe environment for all procedures. Educate patients and families on procedure details and post-procedure care. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Comply with all hospital policies, standards, and procedural protocols.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Current and valid RN licensure. Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology or similar specialty. Strong knowledge of IR protocols, equipment, and safety procedures. Ability to remain composed and responsive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments. Current BLS and ACLS certification. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
