This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your specialized skills in medical documentation, patient assessment, and advanced clinical procedures while supporting patients through every stage of their health journey. Duties Supervision to lead a team of CNAs who also have exceptional resident-to-staff ratios. Participating in the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Plans as identified through data analysis and concerns verbalized by our staff members, our residents, and families. Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories, to inform treatment plans. Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols, including IV infusions and aseptic techniques. Manage complex clinical procedures such as catheterization, suturing, tube feeding, and wound care. Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including specimen collection/processing and laboratory tests, to support clinical decision-making. Engage in patient education and health coaching to promote wellness and adherence to treatment plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards to ensure patient safety and confidentiality. Qualifications Valid RN license with current state licensure required; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS). Extensive clinical skills include IV insertion/infusion, phlebotomy, medication administration, sterile processing techniques, and aseptic procedures. Critical care experience preferred; familiarity with infectious disease care, trauma medicine, hospice & palliative care is highly valued. Excellent communication skills with the ability to perform physical examinations and patient assessments confidently.
