About the
Role:
MIDNIGHT SHIFT
: The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Pine Creek is a critical role focused on delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate patient records. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and positive patient outcomes. The RN will also educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention, promoting overall wellness. Ultimately, the RN at Pine Creek plays a vital role in enhancing patient experiences and supporting the facility's commitment to excellence in healthcare.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States. Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proven clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in acute care or similar environments. Strong understanding of nursing practices, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Advanced certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). Experience working in a multidisciplinary team within a hospital or clinical setting. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Demonstrated leadership or preceptorship experience.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments and document medical histories and symptoms. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and facility policies. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs.
Skills:
The RN will utilize clinical assessment skills daily to evaluate patient conditions and determine appropriate interventions. Strong communication skills are essential for effectively collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients and families. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are applied to respond to emergencies and adapt care plans as needed. Proficiency with electronic health records ensures accurate documentation and efficient information sharing. Additionally, organizational skills help manage multiple patients and prioritize tasks to maintain high standards of care throughout each shift.
