Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Embark on a fulfilling contract role supporting student health and wellness across several schools as a Licensed School Nurse (LSN) for the upcoming academic year. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic school district, serving as an itinerant nurse overseeing the needs of five school sites. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring a healthy, safe environment for students, staff, and communities across the district.
Desired Qualifications:
Hold a current RN License and Public Health License Possess a valid School Nurse License issued by the Board of Teaching Current CPR and BLS certifications Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills Comfortable managing caseloads and traveling between multiple district sites Collaborative, flexible, and adept at working within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing services to students across five school locations Develop and implement individualized care plans for students with specific health needs Respond promptly to emergencies and acute health concerns on-site Liaise with educators, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate student care Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with district policies Lead health education initiatives and advocate for student wellness
