The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have the ability to work effectively in various clinical settings. This role requires excellent assessment skills, the ability to manage patient pain, and familiarity with electronic health record systems. The Registered Nurse will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and supporting patients and their families throughout their treatment journey. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine health status and needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team. Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management, including family planning and pain management strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic and eClinicalWorks for efficient documentation and communication. Participate in memory care programs as needed, ensuring a supportive environment for patients with cognitive impairments. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Strong skills in patient assessment, MDS documentation, and familiarity with pediatrics preferred. Experience in clinic settings is advantageous but not mandatory. Knowledge of pain management techniques and memory care practices is a plus. Proficient in using electronic health record systems, particularly Epic and eClinicalWorks. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on patient education. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining a compassionate approach towards patients.
