$46/hr Join a Dedicated Long-Term Care Team We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing team providing compassionate, resident-focused care during overnight shifts. This travel assignment offers the opportunity to care for geriatric residents, including individuals with dementia and chronic medical conditions, while working in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment. The ideal candidate is confident managing multiple residents, providing skilled nursing care, supervising support staff, and serving as a clinical leader when needed. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in a Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing setting. Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor changes in resident condition. Administer medications, treatments, and physician-ordered therapies safely and accurately. Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans. Monitor residents with dementia, chronic illnesses, and age-related conditions. Respond promptly to changes in resident condition and medical emergencies. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Supervise and delegate patient care activities to LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Serve as Charge Nurse when assigned and provide leadership during the shift. Document all care accurately using electronic medical records, including MatrixCare . Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory compliance standards. Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed. Support resident and family education regarding treatments and ongoing care. Minimum Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current BLS Certification. Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required. Previous Long-Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Rehabilitation, or Geriatric Nursing experience preferred. Experience caring for residents with dementia is highly preferred. Experience with MatrixCare or similar electronic medical record systems preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
