Job Description
This position directs and manages the college's nursing and health disciplines including Nursing degree program, PSEO Health Occupations program, Nursing Assistant program and HLTH courses. Dean provides leadership in the area's accreditation, curriculum development, data analysis and evaluation, and planning. This position involves significant discretion and substantial involvement in the development, interpretation, and implementation of college policy, as well as Minnesota Board of Nursing policy, and ACEN accreditation policy. This position also serves as part of the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College supervisory group and works in the best interest of Fond du Lac Tribal and Community college and the Minnesota State system of colleges and universities.
Salary Range:
$89,275
- $124,872 Annually
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in nursing
Registered Nurse, CPR
Minimum of three years' nursing experience at the professional level
Minimum of two years' college teaching experience
Preferred Qualification Doctorate in Nursing Education preferred
Certified Nurse Educator Certification (CNE)
Experience with nursing accreditation
Experience with nursing curriculum development and related evaluation practices
Experience working with faculty in a continuous improvement environment
Experience collaborating with tribal communities and/or culturally and philosophically diverse student populations
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills appropriate to a professional academic environment
