Full Job Description Role Overview:
The ICU Registered Nurse provides critical care to patients in high-acuity environments, assessing, monitoring, and operating life-support equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and respond to critically ill patients' conditions Administer complex medications and treatments Operate advanced life support devices and interpret hemodynamic data Ensure patient safety, comfort, and emotional needs Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately Educate patients and families about ICU procedures and recovery Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize care Maintain proficiency through ongoing education and adhere to infection control protocols Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Skills:
One year of recent ICU experience Valid RN license and current
BLS/ACLS
certifications Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills Physical ability to handle equipment and patient needs Proficiency in clinical procedures, documentation, and technology
