Job Overview Fairview is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Operating Room team at Fairview Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN! Fairview Northland Medical Center is a full-service, 24-hour medical center proudly serving the communities northwest of the Twin Cities. Surgical Services - Operating Room Serving patients of all ages 4 Operating Suites Services include: General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, OB/GYN, Robotics, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, ENT, Neuro Spine, and Vein Procedures Averages 2,600 cases a year. Surgical and Anesthesia coverage 24/7 60 th percentile ranking for Patient Satisfaction. Endoscopy/GI department has 2 procedure rooms to serve both outpatients and inpatients for colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and EGD. Averages 2500 Endoscopy procedures per year Other information about this position: 48 hours per 2 weeks Day/Evening shifts 8 hour shifts on call shifts: nights, weekends, and holiday's (one weekday call per week and on average every 7th weekend)

Princeton, MN 20 minutes within location, call rooms available
Schedule:
This position is 64 hours per two-week pay period and includes day, evening, and night shifts. Shifts are 8 hours and scheduled Monday through Friday, with rotating start times of 6:40 a.m.-3:10 p.m. and 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m., with occasional shifts extending until 6:30 p.m. Overnight call is shared among staff on a rotating basis, with a required 20-minute callback response time for emergent C-section coverage. On-site call rooms are available as needed. Weekend and holiday call responsibilities are also rotated among staff. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate. Responsibilities Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes. Collaborates with patient, family and other health team members to develop a nursing plan as part of an integrated, comprehensive plan of care Develops an individualized plan based on age, social and cultural considerations, condition and other relevant needs. Evaluates care and patient response to interventions and expected outcomes. Collaborates and communicates effectively and respectfully with the patient, family and members of the health care team within and across care settings to promote partnership-based health care Demonstrates the ability to advance care by utilizing standards, guidelines, care pathways and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes.
