Key Qualifications:
Active RN or CSN licensure, with credentials current for the state of Minnesota. Experience in school-based nursing or pediatric care strongly preferred. Knowledge of state and federal health regulations affecting schools. Able to quickly assess health situations and respond with sound clinical judgement. Comfortable working collaboratively with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals. Strong communication and documentation abilities.Primary Responsibilities:
Provide both urgent and routine medical care to students and staff. Coordinate and administer immunizations, screenings, and routine health checks. Develop and maintain individualized health plans for students with chronic conditions. Educate students on healthy habits and practices, including nutrition, hygiene, and prevention. Maintain accurate health records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines. Serve as a resource for school personnel on matters of student health and wellness. Support public health initiatives and respond to communicable disease concerns within the school.
