What they do

A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Summary Coordinate and/or supervise patient care by other professionals on your team. Perform infusion duties as assigned.

Attainment of clinical standards and the advancement of professional practice is the focus of the position. Schedule Casual | varied schedule and shifts

Day shifts Pay Pay based on experience and degree | Full Pay range: $42.86 to $71.51 per hour Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $42.86 per hour Bachelors in nursing starting at $44.34 per hour Masters in nursing starting at $45.82 per hour Qualifications Associate degree in Nursing or higher Current Minnesota RN License Basic Life Support (BLS)

Exception:

inability to complete certification process related to health condition: must complete education portion of Basic Life Support Additional Chemo/Infusion training and/or certification as determined by department Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients/families, and community resources.
