Remember When Nursing Was About the Patient in Front of You? For many nurses, the hardest part of healthcare isn't the nursing. It's trying to provide great nursing care while managing too many patients, too many interruptions, and never enough time . Hospice offers a different experience. At Superior Hospice, we're looking for experienced RNs to provide weekend visits throughout the Greater Twin Cities Metro Area . You'll work with patients one-on-one, assess what they need, manage symptoms, educate families, and help create comfort during an incredibly important time. One Patient. One Family. One Visit at a Time. Your weekend isn't spent managing an entire hallway of patients. When you arrive for a hospice visit, the person in front of you gets your attention . You'll assess symptoms, answer questions, educate caregivers, coordinate with providers, and determine what can make that patient more comfortable. It's still clinical nursing. But instead of racing from task to task, your work is centered around the individual needs of each patient and family . Why Consider Superior Hospice? $45-$52/hour based on experience Mileage reimbursement Every weekend or every other weekend Part-Time schedule One-on-one patient care Field-based independence and autonomy Develop advanced pain and symptom management skills Build meaningful relationships with patients and families Interdisciplinary clinical support Potential for additional hours as our census grows What You'll Do Provide routine and PRN hospice visits throughout the Greater Twin Cities Metro Area Complete skilled nursing assessments Manage pain, dyspnea, anxiety, agitation, nausea, wounds, and other symptoms Recognize and respond to changes in condition Evaluate medications and comfort-focused interventions Educate patients and families about medications, symptoms, and disease progression Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacies, facilities, and the hospice team Provide care in private homes, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and other community settings Complete accurate and timely documentation Bring the Nurse You've Already Become Hospice experience is preferred, but it isn't the only background we're interested in. RNs from Home Health, ICU, ER, Critical Care, Oncology, Med/Surg, Palliative Care, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Long-Term Care can bring highly transferable skills to hospice. We're looking for nurses who can assess confidently, work independently, communicate with families, recognize changes in condition, and make sound clinical decisions . What We're Looking For Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license Strong clinical nursing experience Excellent assessment and critical-thinking skills Confidence working independently in the field Strong patient and family communication Compassion combined with sound clinical judgment Reliable transportation Willingness to travel throughout the Greater Twin Cities Metro Area Hospice experience preferred, but strong transferable nursing experience is encouraged Give Yourself the Chance to Nurse Differently.
