09/16/2026 Job Description Job Description The Behavioral Health Crisis Center Nurse provide clinical nursing services at the BHCC under the supervision of the Crisis Director and Medical Director. Conduct intakes, brief medical screens and crisis assessments. Triage level of care. DUTIES Provide crisis intervention services to stabilize acute crisis. Provide care and oversight of consumers in collaboration with other team members. Monitor and log all medication administration to comply with DMH standards. Educate consumers regarding their illness and their medications. Complete and sign documentation or related clinical paperwork contemporaneously with service provision (within three (3) business days) and in accordance with agency and certification standards. Coordinate Disease management services and program. Contribute to the development of the person-centered plan. Provide nursing services within the scope of practice and per direction of medical providers. Establish and maintain a professional and positive relationship with medical providers and community stakeholders. Facilitate medication consultation with medical provider. Attend staff meetings with clinical staff and medical providers. Provide occasional on-call consultation regarding after-hour admissions. Maintain current CPR certification. Maintain consumer confidentiality. Perform related work as requested to carry out the purposes, goals and objectives of the agency.QUALIFICATIONS
Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license is preferred; minimum of a Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license is required. Behavioral Health experience is recommended.SUPERVISION
