M-F, shifts vary On-call rotation: one weekend every 6 weeks. Must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minutes while on call. As an Endoscopy Registered Nurse, you'll provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures while supporting patient safety, procedural excellence, and outstanding patient experiences. What You'll Do Perform patient assessments and prepare patients for endoscopic procedures. Provide direct nursing care before, during, and after procedures. Administer medications and moderate sedation in accordance with organizational policies, physician orders, and scope of practice. Monitor patient status and responses throughout procedures and recovery. Assist physicians and the procedural team during endoscopic interventions. Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, preparation requirements, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions. Coordinate care with physicians, anesthesia providers, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Support infection prevention, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives. Promote exceptional patient experiences through compassionate, patient-centered care. What You'll Bring Required Qualifications Current RN licensure. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Effective communication and patient education abilities. Commitment to patient-centered care. Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team. Preferred Qualities Endoscopy experience. Procedural nursing experience. Ability to respond to urgent and emergent patient care situations. Education, Certifications & Licensure Current RN licensure required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Endoscopy or procedural nursing experience preferred.
