We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Cardiology Clinic (Cardiac Device RN) to support a Heart & Vascular Clinic. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiology experience and expertise in cardiac device management, including pacemakers, loop recorders, and implantable defibrillators.Key Responsibilities:
Independently interrogate and evaluate cardiac devices during clinic visits. Manage patients with pacemakers, loop recorders, and implantable defibrillators. Perform remote cardiac device monitoring and follow-up. Review vendor monitoring platforms and clinic scheduling systems. Contact patients regarding device transmissions and monitoring compliance. Triage and assess device-related concerns and cardiac symptoms. Escalate urgent findings to providers and electrophysiology specialists. Perform post-implant device checks and patient education. Troubleshoot and assist with device reprogramming under physician guidance. Interpret cardiac rhythms and identify arrhythmias. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Cerner. Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Follow all clinic, regulatory, and nursing standards. RN01Required Qualifications:
Active Missouri or compact state RN License. 2+ year of experience as a RN Clinic. Minimum 1 year of Cardiology or Cardiac Device experience. Current BLS (AHA) certification.Application Process:
