Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to children from infancy through adolescence, primarily on a walk-in basis for acute illnesses. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care in a supportive environment. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of pediatric patients. Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and injuries. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs. Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options. Maintain timely and accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Stay updated on advancements in pediatric medicine and participate in ongoing professional development. Skills Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Strong understanding of anatomy and physiological systems relevant to pediatrics Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children and their families. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in patient care documentation. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and provide quality patient care. Strong knowledge of which medications are appropriate for children at various stages, including understanding dosages, side effects and potential interactions.
Pay:
$50.00 - $65.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 30.0 per week
