This position is based in the Emergency Department of a modern hospital offering 24-hour emergency services, including pediatric care, surgical and diagnostic services, and specialized units like a cardiac catheterization lab and wound center. The role involves providing direct patient care, assessing, diagnosing, planning, and implementing nursing interventions within established standards.Key Responsibilities:
Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration. Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engage in ongoing professional development. Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum. Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, respecting patient values and barriers to involvement. Maintain a safety-sensitive approach, demonstrating alertness and safe work practices.Qualifications:
Education:
Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred).Licenses:
Valid RN license.Experience:
