Full Job Description Role Overview:
This position is designed for all student nurses, providing direct patient care activities such as assessment, diagnosis, care planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.
Responsibilities include:
Educating patients and families on managing illness, post-treatment care, and medication use. Applying critical thinking to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs. Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members. Monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans accordingly. Participating in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Engaging in professional development and maintaining safety awareness, as this is a safety-sensitive role.
Qualifications:
Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing. Must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation to remain employed in Missouri.
