Deliver high-quality, age-appropriate care for intermediate and high-acuity patients (cardiac, respiratory, neuro, and complex medical) using the nursing process and facility protocols.Assessment & Monitoring :
Conduct patient assessments, monitor status changes, operate medical equipment (e.g., IV pumps, ventilators), and report critical shifts to the care team.Medication & Procedures :
Safely administer medications, monitor for side effects, and assist physicians with bedside procedures within your scope of practice.Care Coordination :
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans, advocate for patient needs, and make responsible delegation decisions.Emergency Response :
Act promptly in medical emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions, including CPR and code team actions.Education & Support :
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions to ensure adherence and safe outcomes.Documentation & Compliance :
Promptly document all care, assessments, and education in the EMR while participating in chart audits and regulatory compliance checks.Safety & Infection Control :
Strictly adhere to National Patient Safety Goals, infection control protocols, and organizational policies to maintain a safe, clean environment.Quality & Professional Growth :
Participate in performance improvement initiatives, stay current on nursing standards, maintain reliable attendance, and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required Licenses & Certifications RN- Registered Nurse
- State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required BCLS
- Basic Life Support required ACLS
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred PALS
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred NRP
- Neonatal Resuscitation preferred Skills & Competencies Clinical assessment, telemetry, and critical-care skills Clear interdisciplinary communication and patient documentation Strong execution of infection control and safety standards
