Gifted Healthcare seeks a
PRN LTAC RN
in Saint Louis, MO. In this per diem role, you'll deliver complex, acute and post-acute care to medically fragile patients in a long-term acute care setting. Responsibilities include assessments, wound and ventilator care, IV therapy, medication administration, and interdisciplinary care planning. You'll join a supportive, clinician-centered culture that values flexibility, work-life balance, and respect while providing high-quality patient care across a mission-driven national staffing network. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to LTAC patients including assessments, wound care, ventilator management, and IV therapy Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and document accurately in the EMRMonitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and initiate appropriate interventions Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans Maintain infection control, patient safety, and regulatory compliance standards Support continuity of care during PRN shifts by quickly adapting to unit needs and workflows Communicate clearly with staffing coordinators and unit leadership regarding availability and shift needs Required Skills Acute care nursing LTAC nursing Ventilator management Wound care IV therapy and infusion management Medication administration Telemetry and patient monitoring Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation Infection control practices Care planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
