Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, focusing on acute cardiac and critical care needs. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, while promoting patient and family-centered services. The nurse collaborates with the interprofessional team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include patient education, monitoring physical and psychosocial needs, and addressing patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care. This position is safety-sensitive, requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:

  Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred.

• Licenses:

  RN license required.

• Experience:

  No experience necessary; 2+ years preferred.
