Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, neonatal patients, or individuals with developmental disabilities. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain sterile processing standards across all clinical activities. Document all patient interactions accurately in EMR/EHR systems such as Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks for seamless medical records management. Provide education on health coaching, discharge planning, medication adherence, and chronic disease management tailored to patient needs. Skills Extensive experience working with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or Epic; proficiency in
ICD-9/10
coding is preferred. Strong clinical skills in areas such as trauma medicine, cardiac catheterization support, dialysis management, and infectious disease care. Critical care experience in ICU or Level I/II trauma centers; familiarity with ventilator management and advanced airway techniques. Knowledge of specialty areas including hospice & palliative medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health, and pain management. Ability to perform complex procedures such as sonography, laboratory specimen collection/processing, ostomy care, and neonatal resuscitation procedures. Excellent communication skills for triage assessments, patient education, case management, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Demonstrated understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology principles relevant to diverse clinical settings. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in home & community care environments; familiarity with long-term care or assisted living facilities is advantageous.
