The unit offers 36 hours per week and provides an opportunity to strengthen your clinical skills while working alongside an experienced nursing and ancillary team. About the Unit Medical patient populations may include: Acute medical conditions Telemetry monitoring Dialysis patients Complex medical needs Surgical patient populations may include: Orthopedic procedures Fractures, shoulders, and back procedures General surgery Appendectomies Hernia repairs Cholecystectomies Colon resections The team places a strong emphasis on pain management, mobility, prevention of complications, patient safety, and optimal clinical outcomes . ️ Nurse-to-Patient Ratio 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio Supported by a Team Leader who is out of staffing Collaborative nursing and ancillary support Strong focus on teamwork and patient-centered care Floating Requirements Flexibility is required. The selected RN must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed to support patient care and staffing needs.
