Responsibilities:
Provide direct perioperative care to surgical patients, collaborating with surgeons and surgical techs for optimized outcomes. Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout their surgical experience. Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique, operative protocols, and documentation requirements. Assist in patient and family education related to surgical processes and recovery. Respond quickly to emergencies and adapt to a variety of surgical specialties and case types.
Qualifications:
Current and unencumbered RN license. Minimum of one year of operating room experience strongly preferred. BLS/CPR certification required; additional certifications such as CNOR are a plus. Adaptability and excellent communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment.
