Job Description

Job Overview Salary is based on years of experience. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team at a CAH in MT. In this vital role, you will provide immediate, comprehensive nursing care to patients experiencing acute medical conditions in a fast-paced emergency environment. Your expertise will ensure rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of diverse cases. This position offers a sign on bonus of up to $20K as well as relocation assistance of up to $7,500 to be discussed in the interview. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to determine urgency and prioritize care. Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and medication management for acute pain control. Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures such as suturing, catheterization, phlebotomy, and wound care to prevent infection.. Document all patient interactions comprehensively within EMR/EHR system, Cerner. Provide education on discharge planning, medication administration, and post-acute care instructions for diverse patient populations. Participate in ongoing training related to emergency medicine protocols, ICD coding updates (ICD-9/10), and infection control practices. Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS required before working independently in the Emergency Department. PALS and TNCC must be obtained within 1 year from hire date. Current Montana or compact state license as a Registered Nurse required Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered
WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal patient care ER environment in Critical Access Hospital Facility may be able to assist with temporary housing at a reduced rate until employee finds perm housing with the relocation assistance provided (temp housing would be for employee only - no family or pets) This is an outside recreational person's dream paradise come true, with opportunities of hiking, camping, fishing etc. The community is a small tourist destination for a person looking for the outdoors but also raising a family as the community is very tight, close with each other.
