Required:
Current Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse) National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification within 6 months of hire Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within sixty (60) days of start date. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within sixty (60) days of start date. Competence in and a willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursing.
Essential Job Functions:
In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must maintain timely completion of all required education, trainings, and certifications as assigned and in accordance with Bozeman Health policies, department-specific requirements, applicable certification program and registry requirements, and other applicable regulatory requirements. Collects Comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation (Assessment) Analyzes the assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues (Diagnosis) Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes (Plan of Care) Implements the identified plan of care Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment Systematically enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice Attains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice Evaluates one's own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules and regulations Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues Collaborates with patient, family and others in the conduct of nursing practice Integrates ethical provisions in all areas of practice Integrates research findings into practice Provides leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Schedule Requirements:
This role requires regular and sustained attendance. The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.

Infectious diseases are caused by contact with patients in areas that may have contagious illnesses.
