2 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg unit requiring MT or compact RN license and 1 year of specialty experience. Details Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week) Uses Epic charting system May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications May be required to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift Requirements Active RN license (MT or compact) required BLS certification through the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification as appropriate for unit or service ASN required, BSN preferred Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty being applied for required Additional Information Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care Perform health teaching and counseling for patients Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
