Schedule/Hours:

13-week contract assignment Choice of 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts Day shifts: 07:00 - 19:30 Night shifts: 19:00 - 07:30 Both day and night shifts are available

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state Minimum of 1 year recent PICU experience required Current BLS and PALS certifications Open to first-time travelers and local candidates (within 75 miles) Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to pediatric patients in the intensive care setting Monitor patient status, administer medications, and manage complex care needs Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Communicate compassionately with families, providing education and emotional support Document accurately and promptly in electronic health records Maintain and reinforce safety protocols and infection control standards
