Registered Nurse Duties:

Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, resident physical assessments, performing treatments, documentation, and monitoring vital signs Provide wound care treatments as needed (wound care nurse in house M-F to provide scheduled treatments for all halls) Medication administration Peripheral IV access Admission assessments Provide discharge education and instructions Catheter insertion and removal Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate and manage patient care Blood draws for labs Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records (Point Click Care) Adhere to all relevant medical protocols, standards, and regulations Skilled in triage and prioritizing patient needs based on urgency Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Registered Nurse Qualifications:
