Schedule/Hours:

Variable shifts 4 weeknight calls and 3 weekend calls within each 6-week schedule period

Qualifications:

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of one year experience in Endoscopy/GI Lab required Demonstrated knowledge and competency in endoscopic procedures, patient monitoring, and emergency interventions BLS and ACLS certifications (or willing to obtain prior to start) Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure care for patients undergoing endoscopic and GI procedures Monitor and assess patient status, implement physician orders, and document care with accuracy Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies for endoscopy procedures, maintaining a sterile field and compliance with infection control standards Respond rapidly and effectively to emergent situations Educate patients and families regarding procedures, post-procedural care, and follow-up instructions Participate in on-call rotation per schedule requirements
