Category Nursing - RN - Endoscopy Job Type Contract Contribute your skills as an experienced Endoscopy RN with a contract position supporting patient care in a high-acuity environment. Work within a facility recognized for its advanced services, strong clinical reputation, and dedicated approach to comprehensive healthcare. This role is essential to the ongoing excellence in gastrointestinal care and endoscopy services.
Schedule & Hours:
Variable shifts Includes four weeknight calls and three weekend calls within a six-week schedule
Qualifications:
Valid RN licensure Minimum of one year of recent Endoscopy/GI Lab experience required Proven proficiency in endoscopic procedures, sedation monitoring, and patient assessment Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care to patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures Prepare procedure rooms and maintain compliance with infection control standards Administer and monitor conscious sedation under procedural protocols Collaborate closely with physicians, technicians, and interdisciplinary teams Deliver patient education regarding procedures and post-procedure care Respond promptly to emergent situations and deliver safe, compassionate care at all times Why Consider This Opportunity?
