Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Contract Elevate your nursing career by joining a high-impact Emergency Department that serves as a regional leader in trauma, pediatrics, and cardiovascular care. Schedule:
3 night shifts per week Every other weekend required Flexible coverage within all ED sections; no floating outside
ER Required Qualifications:
Active RN License Current
BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, ENPC
(must have all prior to submission) CPI certification before date of hire Minimum 2 years' experience working in high-volume ED/Level 2 trauma center At least 1 year of recent ER nursing experience (RN-ER and/or RN-ER Pediatrics) Strong communication skills, adaptable mindset, positive teammate, effective real-time coaching Comfortable working with Cerner documentation and advanced monitoring equipment
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide excellent care in a 101-bed Emergency Department, including pediatric and behavioral holds Carry out advanced procedures and acute interventions Ensure all patient boards and updates adhere to AIDET and high patient experience standards Collaborate closely with techs, clerks, and a multidisciplinary team Uphold the department's principles of respect, excellence, and patient advocacy
