Carthage, North Carolina Job Description A well-established senior care organization in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to oversee nursing operations within a skilled nursing, memory care, and assisted living environment. This leadership role is responsible for directing clinical services, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining quality patient care standards, and supporting nursing staff development. The Director of Nursing will provide overall leadership for the nursing department and collaborate closely with administrative and medical leadership to ensure exceptional resident care and operational excellence. Schedule Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily nursing department operations Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations Oversee clinical quality initiatives and resident care standards Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff Partner with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive resident outcomes Assist with policy implementation, staff education, and performance management Maintain a safe and effective care environment for residents and staff Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina Current CPR/BLS certification with in-person skills evaluation Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to lead teams and manage clinical operations effectively Preferred Qualifications 3-5 years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting Experience overseeing regulatory compliance and quality initiatives Previous Director of Nursing or nurse management experience preferred Key Skills Required Clinical leadership Regulatory compliance Staff development and supervision Quality assurance Communication and teamwork Long-term care operations Why This Location? $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
