Job Description A respected senior care organization in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead nursing services across a skilled nursing, memory care, and assisted living community. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, ensuring high-quality resident care, and guiding nursing team development. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in a skilled nursing environment , with the ability to partner closely with administration and clinical teams to support resident outcomes and operational success. Schedule Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities Direct and oversee all daily nursing department operations Lead clinical services within skilled nursing, memory care, and assisted living settings Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations Maintain high standards for resident care, safety, and clinical quality Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff and department leaders Partner with interdisciplinary teams to drive positive resident outcomes Oversee policy implementation, staff education, and performance management Foster a safe, efficient, and resident-focused care environment Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina Current CPR/BLS certification with in-person skills evaluation Minimum 5 years of hands-on skilled nursing experience Minimum 2 years of nursing management experience in a skilled nursing setting Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage clinical operations effectively Preferred Qualifications Previous Director of Nursing (DON) experience in a skilled nursing environment strongly preferred Leadership experience overseeing regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives Experience managing nursing teams in long-term care or senior living settings Background supporting memory care or assisted living services is a plus Key Skills Required Skilled nursing leadership Director of Nursing operations Regulatory compliance Staff development and supervision Clinical quality assurance Long-term care operations Communication and interdisciplinary collaboration

Sign-On Bonus Pay:
$115,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
