This is an important clinical and operational role for someone who enjoys being the physician's right hand, helping manage patient communication, triage clinical concerns, coordinate care, and keep patients moving efficiently through their care plans. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable working independently while maintaining close communication with the physician and the rest of the care team. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the Lead Physician to support day-to-day clinical care and patient management. Review and manage physician inboxes, including patient messages, clinical questions, results, refill requests, and follow-up needs. Triage patient concerns and determine appropriate next steps based on clinical protocols and physician guidance. Escalate urgent or clinically complex issues to the physician promptly. Communicate with patients by phone, portal, and other approved communication channels. Assist with coordinating follow-up appointments, testing, referrals, and other aspects of patient care. Help monitor and manage patients enrolled in the practice's weight-loss/medical weight-management program. Support Chronic Care Management (CCM) activities, including patient outreach, care coordination, monitoring, and documentation. Follow up with patients regarding treatment plans, medications, labs, and other physician-directed recommendations. Assist the physician with care-plan implementation and patient education. Help identify patients who need additional follow-up or intervention. Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record. Collaborate with physicians and other members of the clinical team to ensure continuity and quality of care. Help improve clinical workflows, patient communication, and overall practice efficiency. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable clinical regulations.

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
