Full time 3x12-hour shifts Night shift w weekend rotation
We're Looking For:
Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state in which the teammate practices BSN required (RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without a BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of hire/transfer and must complete the program within 3 years of enrollment) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association Minimum of two years of nursing experience preferred At least one year of Behavioral Health experience preferred
What You'll Do:
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. More About Atrium Health Behavioral Health Davidson & Our River Birch Unit Atrium Health Behavioral Health Davidson consists of three units: River Birch, Mountain Laurel, and Fraser Fir. Each unit has 22 beds. We are an acute care inpatient behavioral health facility. The Mountain Laurel unit at Behavioral Health Davidson is a 22‑bed adult inpatient psychiatric unit serving individuals with mood disorders, psychosis, and dual diagnoses involving both psychiatric conditions and alcohol and/or substance use disorders. The unit is supported by a comprehensive multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, psychiatric technicians, social workers, recreational and occupational therapists, spiritual care providers, and peer support specialists. Care on the unit is grounded in a patient‑centered practice model and incorporates trauma‑informed care principles throughout all patient interactions and treatment approaches. Ready to Take the
