1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Electrophysiology Lab position requiring 2+ years of EP experience and NC or compact RN license. Details Work in a heavy-ablation EP Lab performing scrubbing and circulating for EP procedures Scrubbing includes device implants such as leadless pacemakers Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM No weekend requirements and no on-call responsibilities Late day rotation required, which may involve staying past 5:30 PM to complete a case Scheduling typically follows a block format but may vary based on unit needs May float to other hospital areas during a pandemic or to the Cath Holding Room to pull sheaths and support staff May float to any Cone Health campus as needed Travelers are not required to monitor patients Requirements Active NC or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration BLS and ACLS certifications required
CCI RCIS
certification preferred Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
EPIC EMR
experience required Ability to scrub EP cases and familiarity with EP equipment required Skilled in circulating procedures, procedural sedation monitoring, and dysrhythmia/EKG interpretation Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed) regardless of specialty Current driver's license required to verify address Additional Information Perform EP procedures including scrubbing and circulating for ablations and device implants Scrubs are provided First-time travelers are welcome to apply if they meet the experience requirements Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, with no local rates applying RTO must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO requests accepted
