Qualifications:

Current, active RN license Proven experience working in a Stepdown or similar progressive care unit BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong assessment, monitoring, and communication skills Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care

Responsibilities:

Closely monitor patients' condition and progress during the post-ICU phase Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and update individualized care plans Provide clear patient and family education regarding recovery and ongoing care needs Document nursing assessments, interventions, outcomes, and patient responses in accordance with facility protocols Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient status
