As a travel Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology, you'll be immersed in a dynamic clinical environment. Work alongside skilled professionals with diverse leadership styles, expanding your knowledge in pre- and post-care for patients undergoing radiology services, stress testing, or imaging procedures including CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and Interventional Radiology. You'll primarily care for adults, with occasional pre- and post-anesthesia care for infants and children undergoing MRI.
Schedule/Hours:
10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (07:00-17:30) Weekend rotation every 5th week Weeknight on-call: 17:30-07:00, up to 1 weeknight per week Weekend on-call: 17:30-07:00, up to 1 weekend every 5th week (Friday-Sunday)
Key Qualifications:
Current RN license Proven experience or strong interest in Interventional Radiology Competence in pre/post-care for adult patients, and willingness to provide care for infants and children Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills Comfortable monitoring patients during imaging procedures
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality pre- and post-procedural care in radiology settings Monitor patient status during imaging and stress testing Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes Respond promptly to emergencies or changes in patient condition Complete thorough documentation
