:
Minimum Required:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina. Graduate of accredited school of nursing (Associate or Diploma required; BSN preferred). Demonstrated knowledge of postoperative recovery, infection prevention, and patient education principles. Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Experience in PACU, perioperative services, or ambulatory surgery.
Certification:
CNOR, CAPA, or CPAN. Experience with telephone triage or post‑discharge care coordination
ADDITIONAL SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
: Incumbent must demonstrate an ability to apply age-appropriate principles of communication relevant to pediatric adult and geriatric patients. Must demonstrate competence in postoperative assessment, wound evaluation, and infection surveillance prior to independent practice. Demonstrates the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to signs of clinical deterioration or infection and maintain competence in electronic medical record documentation and adherence to standardized post‑operative call protocols.
