Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Travel Explore vibrant Matthews, NC—a charming town where Southern hospitality meets a growing healthcare community. This travel assignment presents the unique chance to deepen your clinical expertise in an award-winning Chest Pain and Stroke Center setting, while connecting with passionate healthcare professionals and discovering the cultural gems of the Carolinas during your time off. Professionals in this rewarding role will rotate through a state-of-the-art facility known for its excellent cardiac medical telemetry, handling a diverse array of cases. This is an opportunity to sharpen your Med/Tele skills and expand your understanding of contemporary nursing leadership styles, as you collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to new workplace practices. Schedule/Hours Weekend rotation:
Every other weekend Schedule cycles every 6 weeks No on-call requirements Work 75% of holidays Up to 6 days of approved time off (excluding holidays, with contract extension as needed) Qualifications Active RN license BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required At least 18 months recent Med/Tele RN experience (Resource Team requirement) Strong clinical skills: stroke, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube & drain management, various tube insertions, med gtt & cardiac drip management, blood product administration Experience with Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell dispensing, and Phillips monitors Willingness to float to multiple units/facilities within regional network Responsibilities Deliver evidence-based care for patients with complex cardiac diagnoses, such as heart failure, arrhythmias, and acute chest pain Collaborate with resource nurses, CNAs, and multidisciplinary support services Prepare and monitor patients for cardiac testing and interventions Float within regional facilities as required, maintaining high adaptability and professionalism Benefits & Perks Tax-advantaged stipends for housing and meals Full travel assistance for work transitions Healthcare coverage, including medical, dental, and vision Retirement savings with 401(k) Premium compensation for specialized skillsets Assurance of job security as a travel healthcare professional Meaningful networking and development opportunities Elevate your nursing career—take this chance to engage with diverse teams, elevate your skills, and immerse yourself in Matthews, NC.
