Key Qualifications:
Current, active RN licensure valid in North Carolina or compact state At least 2 years recent experience as an Operating Room RN Solid knowledge of surgical asepsis, patient monitoring, and operating room protocols Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare the OR and ensure all surgical equipment is sterile and ready Assist surgeons and surgical teams throughout procedures Monitor patient safety and vital signs before, during, and after surgery Document all nursing care and patient responses accurately Maintain clear, respectful communication with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical technologists
