Schedule/Hours:

3x12-hour shifts, Days (7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.) Weekend rotation Holiday coverage as needed Flexible, self-assisted scheduling structured in 6-week periods based on department needs and patient acuity

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid RN license Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac PCU experience Comfortable managing a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio Previous Charge RN background preferred BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH preferred EPIC proficiency Familiarity with Rapid Response Teams preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Monitor and care for telemetry patients Pre/post-cardiac cath care Peripheral and PICC line management Management and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips Procedural sedation administration Care for patients with chest tubes, CPAP/BIPAP, and tracheostomies Predominant focus on cardiac conditions (CHF, ACS, arrhythmias, myocardial infarction, post-cath, syncope, pacemaker placement) Secondary focus on respiratory cases (COPD, pneumonia, BIPAP)
