An Emergency Room Registered Nurse cares for patients in a hospital Emergency Room. Works with Physicians and other clinicians as part of an emergency care team. Provides emergency medical care and emotional support to patients and families dealing with trauma.
The Atrium Health Union Emergency Department is a 34-bed unit with an associated 10-bed Behavioral Health Holding Unit. We offer services 24 hours a day, supplying or providing unscheduled episodic services to patients in need of immediate or urgent medical attention. We're Looking For:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association ACLS required within 6 months of hire 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred
What You'll Do:
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
