1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of L&D experience and AWHONN intermediate certification. Details 19-bed Labor and Delivery unit Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM) Patient ratio of 1:2-3 Floating to postpartum/mother baby unit required Manages transitioning newborns in labor and delivery Requirements Active RN license (NC or Compact) required BLS and NRP certifications required AWHONN intermediate certification required Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required Competent in management of second stage labor Competent in performing vaginal exams Strong clinical skills required Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must not reside in Moore County, though all other local candidates are accepted at the same rate
